Bernard Boys Dream of Summer Camp!

Kenol and I are both full-time ministry workers in Titanyen, Haiti. We would love nothing more than to give our boys, Joshua, Olivier and Joseph, the opportunity to experience a week at Camp Kahquah (www.campkahquah.com) this summer in Magnetawan, Canada.
I attended Camp Kahquah as a child and have the most incredible memories from every summer I attended. One of my all-time favourite memories is desperately trying to stand up while attempting to water ski. In my entire week I got up only once for a grand total of about 3.5 seconds before I face planted into the water. It was the most incredible 3.5 seconds ever! I still know all the words to every camp song I ever sang, and even taught them to the orphanage children here in Haiti. Canoeing, rock climbing, sleeping in a teepee, camp fire worship and our teaching sessions are all cherished childhood memories.
My heart’s desire is for my children to have the opportunity to have those same amazing experiences as well as the incredible learning and spiritual growth that goes along with attending camp.
That being said, living on Missionary/Haitian salary makes it impossible for us to afford the airfare needed to get the boys to Canada.
In faith, we’ve registered Joseph, Oliver and Joshua for Quest camp, July 10-16, and the boys and I have been praying for God to make a way for them to be able to attend.
