my name is Alena Stevenson, I’ve lived in Iqaluit for many years now. I am committed to supporting the individuals and families who directly benefit from the funds we are raising.

The city of Iqaluit is actively invested in this initiative and will assist me in identifying the families affected by the fire. Together, we aim to provide timely assistance and resources to help these families recover and rebuild their lives.

Appartment complex 1088 is currently in a disasterous state on fire right now, many residents are loosing their homes, their belongings, their safe space.

this fundraiser is to support their needs in the coming days and weeks ahead.

As always, residents of Iqaluit are generous and supportive to those who need the extra support, let’s come together to give them our best in these difficult times.

I am personally overseeing the funds. In my account and will be sending directly to those who lost their homes in the fire.
