Fifteen years ago, my parents made a life-changing decision to immigrate to the US for a better life, bringing my sisters and me with them. I am forever grateful for the privileges I have here in America, most importantly, the access to exceptional healthcare.

Unfortunately, however, many back home lack the care I am so grateful to have. As a result, I have made it a priority to engage in initiatives that improve healthcare in Nepal.

For the past six months, I have been working on a project to strengthen pre-hospital care in Nepal. With the help of Dr. Ramu Kharel and the excellent team he has created, we will travel to Nepal in late March to distribute equipment and train community healthcare workers. With this, I need your help. I hope to raise more funds to supply the community with more equipment than we currently have.

Inspired by hearing the stories of people traveling many kilometers on foot to access care, I decided to do a 10k for 10 days to raise money for this project. In addition, I will post verification of my runs every day in an effort to update everyone.
