10K for Mental Health: Turning Struggles into Strength
Hi, I’m Rochelle, and I’m running a 10k in Nottingham at Jane Tomlinson’s Run For All, on 9th March 2025, to raise money for the Samaritans, a charity that provides essential support to those struggling with their mental health.
This cause is incredibly important to me because I’ve faced my own battles with depression, anxiety, and dermatillomania. I know how isolating it can feel to live with these challenges, and I also know how vital it is to have someone to talk to when everything feels overwhelming. That’s exactly what the Samaritans offer; a listening ear, a lifeline, and hope for those in their darkest moments.
The funds I’m raising will go directly toward supporting the Samaritans’ work, from maintaining their 24/7 helpline to providing resources that help people in crisis. Every donation, no matter how small, will make a difference and could even save a life.
By running this 10k, I hope to not only support this incredible charity but also raise awareness about mental health and encourage others to reach out for help when they need it. Together, we can make a difference.
Thank you so much for your support!
