10k Galleyhead Charity Swim 2022

Hi All,

Jason, Steve, Paul O'H, Paul B, Neil, Keith, Jim, Dave, and John are hoping to raise money for three charities by completing the Galley Head Swim on 9th July 2022 in beautiful West Cork.

 

The lads will form 3 teams of 3. Each team will take on the challenge of completing the 10km swim. The swim starts at the Red Strand beach, near Ardfield, Clonakilty and goes around the Galley Head, finishing at the Warren beach near Rosscarbery.

All donations will be split between the following three charities …

 

Marymount Hospice provides specialist palliative care of the highest quality for those with a life limiting illness and care for older people of our community, cherishing the uniqueness and dignity of each person.

 

West Cork Underwater Search & Rescue provides emergency underwater search and rescue services along the West Cork coastline.

 

Irish Community Air Ambulance provides safe, effective, and timely emergency prehospital care to those seriously ill or injured in Ireland. Saving lives by saving time.
