10k On My Wedding Day
Donation protected
Hi all,
As many of you are aware, the VHI VIRTUAL WOMEN'S MINI MARATHON will take place between October 1st to October 10th.
With my wedding being on the 6th October at 10am in Drogheda I feel that would be the perfect time to do a 10K run at the crack of dawn. I'm lying, it is an insane idea and if anything happens while I am running I will ruin the day and end up limping up the aisle, but it's for a good charity so feck it I'll do it anyway.
I will be getting up at 4.20am and starting the run at 5am to give myself enough time to do the run, come home shower, do hair and make up and be out the door with enough time to marry my future husband (last part maybe optional).
The charity I am running for is The Dublin Rape Crisis Centre, they are an excellent charity and with COVID happening and many men and women forced to quarantine in homes that are not the safest choice The Dublin Rape Crisis Centre could deeply benefit from any money you choose to give.
Any money you give would make me getting up at 4.20am on my wedding day worth it and in the small chance we do make the 10,000 euro goal before 6th of October I may consider running in my wedding heels.
THANK YOU EVERYONE!
