10th Annual Holiday Toy Drive
Donation protected
Over the past nine years, we have raised over $56,000 through our Annual Holiday Toy Drive for underprivileged children in Jersey City. With the partnership of our good friends Gina Velliquette and Jason Velliquette, we have continued to make this event bigger and better. Each year our list of supporters grows to include more family, friends, and colleagues. Each year we’ve brought holiday cheer to more and more children.
December is here, which means it’s time for our 10th Annual Holiday Toy Drive. This is our 8th year partnering with the Boys and Girls Clubs of Hudson County and 2nd year partnering with Kismet of Kings to provide toys to hundreds of children in need. We are so excited to continue our work with the great folks at these wonderful organizations who make such a positive impact on our communities.

Last year, we raised $11,100 and provided 147 children in need with multiple gifts via a Target shopping spree to make their holidays a little brighter.
This year we’re aiming to raise $12,000 and we’ll be leveraging GoFundMe as usual to help us streamline and track the drive.
From the start, it’s been critically important to us that every dollar raised goes 100% to the children we’re raising money for. GoFundMe charges 2.9% + $0.30 per donation which Johanna and I will personally cover (up to $1,000) to again ensure every dollar goes towards the cause. The Boys and Girls Clubs of Hudson County will also leverage their corporate account which means the purchases will be sales tax free!
Lastly, we need your help in getting the word out. 65% of our donors last year were first time donors! With such a large goal we need to continue to expand our circle. Please take a few minutes to forward this to your friends, family, and coworkers. Together we can make an incredible impact this holiday season.
Happy Holidays! Thank you for helping bring holiday cheer to more and more children.
