Covid-19 Frontline : Fabric for Face Masks
Donation protected
Ireland’s frontline workers are doing a heroic job in the fight against Covid-19and we are writing to ask you to help them.
Led by Katie Holland, 10th Dublin Kilternan Scout Leaders and Youth Members are proudly supporting a national sewing initiative to produce, collect and deliver protective face masks for care providers who need them most – and where there are not enough to meet their needs.
We are asking for your help to make sure we can buy the fabric to get our orders completed and sent out to hospitals, nursing homes and care facilities across Ireland.
A donation of €10 will buy 1 metre of fabric which will enable volunteers to make 10 masks. The masks are reusable and machine-washable. Every single cent raised will be used to buy the materials – all work is completely voluntary.
Together we can make a difference and help give our care providers the protection they need to keep themselves and, in turn, all of us safe.
