The IRISH contingent of IRISHPOLBATT deployed to UNP 2-45 SOUTH LEBANON in NOV 19.
On 30-31 May 2020 soldiers in the Battalion will participate in events over their Charity Weekend;
30 May 2020 –Snake Hill Run
Teams of 23 will complete 10 x 1.1km laps and one team of 6 will complete 40 laps. Each team will climb the height of Mount Everest. How many times will the Battalion climb

31 May 2020 –ENGCON Loaded March
The Engineer Contingent of the Battalion have organised a challenge of 25km/40km March within the camp including Snake Hill with 14kg weight.
All proceeds will go to Milford Care Centre, ARC House and Waterford Hospice. All three charities provide support and care to Cancer patients . All charities have personal connections with members of the Battalion.
