Documentary Film Fund: 11DAYS
Donation protected
My Name is Charles Upham. I am the father of the late Native actress Misty Upham.
I am raising money to complete a documentary film project that tells the tragic story of how Misty was missing for 11 days and we did not recieve help from police or government services to find her.
I feel this film will raise awareness about the issues regarding the policies and practices of first responders that ultimately fail the people who desperately need these services. It is my hope that we can make a difference and implement positive changes in procedures for people in need emergency services because all lives matter. No family should ever have to experience the hopelessness of losing a child and not finding help with search and rescue from agencies with all the resources.
The money I raise will be used to purchase the equipment for film production, music production, travel to get the film shots and interviews, the cost of post production, computers and software, film festival, publication and distribution costs. The film project is underway but the current lack of funds, used outdated equipment are major factors in steps to completing the project in a timely manner.
I miss my daughter so much and this film is a way to tell her story and provide answers to questions by all her friends and family. It represents my quest to find closure and healing, I can still do something for my girl.
Your generous donation will be greatly appreciated.
All donors will receive a free digital copy of the film in HD.
Thank You
