11K, 11 WAYS FOR 11 DAYS

As the founders of a peer support organisation for the military community, we see first hand every single day the positive impact The Royal British Legion has on veterans, service personnel and their families. Given the restraints on fundraising in person this year due to the coronavirus pandemic, we all have to come up with more diverse ways of supporting the #PoppyAppeal. Here is ours: 

From the 1st November, we'll be covering 11K every day in 11 different ways. 

Day 1. SJ Runs
An 11K fast paced run around Southsea.

Day 2. Dan Rides
An 11K bike ride across Portsmouth

Day 3. SJ Runs With Weight
A weighted run across Portsmouth

Day 4. Dan Kayaks
Kayaking around the Solent for 11k, whatever the weather.

Day 5. SJ & Dan Relay
A two man relay, one man on track at all times until 11k is done.

Day 6. SJ Steps
Up and down steps for a distance/elevation of 11k.

Day 8. Dan Tabs
Weighted tab across 11k.

Day 9. SJ Hill Reps
Covering 11k distance exclusively up and down hills.

Day 10. SJ & Dan Triathlon
5k Run, 5k Bike, 1k swim.

Day 11. Race To The Cenotaph
A Top Gear style race against SJ on foot and Dan on public transport to get to Portsmouth's cenotaph first and in good time to fall silent on Remembrance Day.
