The Army JROTC Program at Forest Hill Community High School has come together, to try and save lives by wanting to get more AEDS & 1st AID training equipment in our school and many schools in the area. We as a program came together to start this campaign, which will raise awareness due to many unnecessary deaths that could have been prevented if there were more AEDS available. Our goal is to raise enough money to be able to have AEDS & 1st AID training equipment around campus. As well as helping other schools around as well.

Continuously, from past experiences, we realized AEDS is a serious matter. You never know when and where a person will have a heart attack or need CPR. I, unfortunately, have been in a situation where an AED was needed or any 1st aid equipment but I had recognized the signs due to the training in the Army JROTC Program, it made me act fast and save a life. What if they had a heart attack and I didn't have an AED, 1st AID equipment or training? This is why we are striving to make them easily accessible for future situations.
