Cancer treatment for 15 year old Justin Gay
Donation protected

My name is Jeffrey Dzik, and I am a family friend to Justin Gay, an active 13-year-old Form 2 student of St. Benedict's College in South Trinidad.
Recent complaints of pain when exercising with his dad led to a medical exam where it was discovered that he was diagnosed with left distal femur osteosarcoma (bone cancer in his knee).
Osteosarcoma is a type of bone cancer that begins in the cells that form bones. It is most often found in the long bones - more often the legs, but sometimes in the arms -but it can start in any bone. Teens are the most commonly affected age group.
His medical team has advised that he seek treatment overseas immediately before it spreads.
His parents, Sheldon and Lydia, nine-year-old brother Kyle, and grandparents are appealing to family and friends to urgently assist us in getting this treatment.
We thank you and also ask for your Prayers as we embark on this medical journey.
