To Our Family, Friends, and Community-

It is with deep sadness and a broken heart that I announce that our very own Silas Samar Tulachan has gone home to be with Jesus on October 13th, 2022.

Silas Samar Tulachan was a gentle 13 year old boy, god fearing, and sincerely years beyond his time. Silas was a musician, aspiring engineer, and most importantly- an unconditionally loving son, brother, and cousin to his family. His life was and is a glorious tribute to the living, we are devastated to acknowledge that our Silas will be forever 13.. The places this family is traveling in grief is beyond any words. I’m writing to you because we need some major assistance.

Silas leaves behind his best friend and his mother Mary Raynor, his father Sabin Tulachan, his grandmother, Debbie Raynor, and his siblings Luie, Lukas, MaKennah, and Scarlett.

Silas’s mother, Mary Raynor, is a small business owner in downtown Fuquay Varina, NC. She has an abundant, positive, and warm-hearted presence in our community. As you may know, self-employed entrepreneurs receive no paid time off or vacation days. Mary is a hard-working single mother of four now, and she is struggling.

It is very hard to portray the importance of this unwanted posting, but it is imperative that we do so as this is a time sensitive and critical message by way of the family’s situation.

Mary Raynor and Silas’s siblings Luie, Lukas, MaKennah, and Scarlett are in need of financial help at this time as Mary is unable to continue working until the year 2023. During her time off, Mary intends to help her children navigate through this devastating reality of losing Silas and embark on healing with her family.

This compensation also includes the cost of the funeral, memorial, mental health assistance for her remaining children and herself, and cost of living expenses until the new year.
