13.1 miles for Semper K9

Hello,

My name is Lissette Vazquez-Limauro and this April I will be running in the Nashville Rock-N-Roll Half Marathon (13.1 miles). I have teamed up with Semper K9 Assistance Dogs, a non-profit organization based in Quantico, VA, whose mission is to enhance the quality of life for wounded, critically-ill and injured members of the U.S. Armed Forces and their families by providing them assistance dogs. They rescue dogs and train them to become service dogs for psychiatric alertness and mobility challenges, free of charge to wounded service members. I chose this organization to raise money for after meeting them during the Marine Corps Marathon Expo in Washington, DC last year.
