Help the 13th Burlington Cub Scouts go camping ⛺️

What we need help with?

The 13th Burlington Cub Pack is a busy group of 30 youth. We plan to go on several overnight camping trips in 2025 and we're asking for help to fund these trips. Some of the camps are in tents, others are in lodges. We also plan to go on a canoe trip and sleep over at the zoo — maybe even visit other Cub Packs in Buffalo.

Why donate?

Year after year our Cubs (aged 8-10) tell us that their favourite activity with scouts is camping but not every family is able to pay for camp, which is $70-$150 per youth per weekend.

Rain or shine, youth go home with unforgettable memories. They cook their own food, play lots of games and learn outdoor skills. Even more importantly, they learn crucial leadership and planning skills that will stay with them for many years.

How will the funds be used?

This fundraiser is organized by Zoltan Wagner, a volunteer scout leader with the 13th Burlington Cub Pack.

All funds will be used exclusively to cover costs for transportation, meals, accommodations and reservation fees for overnight camping trips for our pack.

Unused funds, if any, will be saved for activities for the following year.

Event organizers don't receive any of the funds raised for personal use and receive no other compensation for their volunteer work with Scouts Canada.
