145-147 Hopedale St - Fire Victims

The Hopedale Firefighters Association (HFFA) is gathering donations for the families affected by the structure fire at 145 - 147 Hopedale St Hopedale, Massachusetts.
Calls were received at 1548 hours reporting a fire in the attic. Companies were dispatched and arrived shortly after finding heavy smoke showing from the rear of the building. A 2nd Alarm was struck bringing in mutual aid from Milford, Bellingham, Hopkinton, Upton, Medway, Mendon and Community EMS. Firefighters battled the fire for nearly 7 hours but unfortunately the house is a complete loss. As a result of the fire two families were displaced. All money gathered will be provided directly to the two families who lost their homes.
The cause of the fire is under investigation by the Hopedale Fire Department in conjunction with Massachusetts State Troopers assigned to the Massachusetts State Fire Marshall's Office.
