End of year 2020

Tax deductible
As we near the end of the year 2020 – without a doubt a year that we will never forget – we wanted to reflect on how grateful we are to our loyal patrons, subscribers and donors who have not let the COVID-19 pandemic keep you away from our journey through the most challenging  year we have ever faced. The good news is this: Despite having to cancel our indoor season at The Studio Theater, we have not canceled our performances, nor have we lost the spirit of sharing the experience of Broadway In Your Backyard. Through the efforts of our founders and our incredible staff, we have been able to stay alive and strong through creative events such as our Friday night Drive-In performances and our virtual performances designed to let you enjoy Broadway from the safety and comfort of your own homes, vehicles and personal devices.

Due to the struggles we have faced by the closure of The Center for the Performing Arts for much of this year, our ticket revenues have taken a hit. We have been fortunate to obtain some relief in the form of various grants and programs, so we are pleased to report that we will get through the end of the year in pretty good shape. However, the year 2021 will not be without challenges unless we see an end to the pandemic and the reopening of our theater and a return to normal. Until then, we are hoping you can help us prepare for the upcoming season.
