15 Year Old Boy Shot & Killed in Front of Mother

On Friday, December 4th, Mekhi was shot and killed by a RANDOM gunman while in the Burger King drive-thru with his mom in Stockton, California. What was supposed to be a typical day for a mother and son turned into a horrific nightmare.


Mekhi was only 15 years old and just began to live his life. He was a sophomore at Edison High School & all of his peers loved him. Mekhi was known as the person who brightened everyone’s day and made sure that he left a smile on their faces!  He loved to listen to music in his earphones and quote rap lyrics all day. His goofy personality always shined through, and he made sure to rub that affection off on you. Mekhi was looking forward to his junior prom and putting on his “buff” glasses and earrings. He loved swimming and started swimming early on because he didn’t want to be left out within his circle of friends! 


We are all in shock at the sudden death of our beloved son, family, and friend. Mekhi was taking away from us way too early, and nothing will replace this horrendous scene in his mother's head.
