150 Holes for Jack – In Memory of Jack O’Grady
On February 24th & 25th, we will take on the challenge of playing 150 holes of golf in just two days at Dooks Golf Club in memory of Jack O’Grady.
Jack was an incredible young man – full of life, kindness, and a love for sport. Since his passing over a year ago after a courageous battle with cancer, we have wanted to honour his memory in a way that reflects his strength and spirit.
The idea for this challenge came from my longtime college friend, Nicholas Plunkett-Dillon, who originally took on the same challenge as a teenager for charity. He was planning to do it again, and I decided to join him—making it a shared effort in memory of Jack and for a cause that means so much.
We are raising funds for the Irish Cancer Society, a charity that provides vital support to families affected by cancer and funds lifesaving research.
How You Can Help
Donate – Every euro raised will go directly to the Irish Cancer Society to support cancer patients and their families.
Share – Please spread the word and share this fundraiser with friends, family, and colleagues.
⛳ Follow the Challenge – We’ll be sharing updates along the way, so keep an eye out for progress posts as we take on this huge test of endurance!
This is more than just a fundraiser – it’s a tribute to Jack and a way to make a difference in his name. We truly appreciate any support you can give, whether through a donation or simply sharing this page.
Thank you,
Dermot O’Grady & Nicholas Plunkett-Dillon
