15k ToughMudder for Heronbank Cat Rescue

My name is Carrie, and I've been fostering for Heronbank Cat Rescue for a couple of years now. It's an amazing experience to be part of an animals journey to look after and care for them in preparation for fiding their new forever home, from bravery training, to getting them vaccinated/chipped/neutered. None of it would be possible without the amazing team at Heronbank. Every single person is amazing with help and advice, and the ladies who run things behind the scenes are simply phenomenal. We will do everything we can to give a cat or kitten the best new start, and that can come with some very hefty vet costs.

On 26th July, along with two of my closest friends and my PT group, I have signed up to do a 15k ToughMudder - 20+ obstacles set over a 15k course, with a lot of mud! Anyone who knows me, knows I've been overweight and unfit most of my life, so unsuprisingly I've never done anything like this before (and might never do it again!). As such, I'd like to make the most of this experience by helping Heronbank at the same time. Knowing I'm doing it for such a worthwhile cause that is not only close to my heart but that I'm directly involved in gives me such a boost to make sure I get this done!

All funds will be going directly to Heronbank, and will help with the cost of food and supplies while the cats are in foster, flea and worm treatment, vet costs including neutering and chipping, as well as any additional vet visits and treatments/operations needed.
