Teen girl hit & run victim fund
Donation protected
Hello, my name is Kat Sutter. My teenage daughter, Angie, was a victim of a horrific, intentional hit and run at the McDonalds in St Lucie West on New Years Eve. Between 9-10 pm, a fight broke out between 2 random guys in the parking lot. A crowd gathered to watch the fight and once it broke up, one of the guys jumped in his car and attempted to run over the other man involved in the fight. He hit a parked car & almost ran over a family exiting the restaurant. He spotted the guy from the fight, who was standing near my daughter. He turned straight towards them and hit the gas...the man jumped out of the way and the driver turned the wheel and drove directly into Angie, crushing & pinning her between his and a parked car. He threw the car in reverse and sped out of the parking lot, leaving my daughter for dead! To add insult to injury (literally) someone had the audacity to pick up her brand new iPhone and steal it! Shame on them!! It is sad that this is the society we live in! SMH! She was transported to St. Mary's Medical Center in West Palm Beach, where she had extensive, emergency surgery on her shattered & broken pelvis. She now has an 8" metal rod bolted to her pelvis and protruding from her body for the next 6-8 weeks. She begins rehab today to learn how to walk again. Thankfully, her spirits are up and she has a wonderfully positive attitude! I admire her strength, courage and determination to overcome her adversities! The driver of the car has yet to be found! He is a chubby black male, maybe 5'7, 18-25 years of age, most likely from PSL and was driving a white sedan, something in the likes of a corolla or civic. If anyone has any information on this crime or the suspects, please contact the Port St Lucie police! I have started this campaign in the hopes of raising money to help with transportation, lodging and food for family memebers to be able to be with Angie in West Palm and to purchase any items Angie will need once she is released to help accommodate her special needs for the next 6-8 weeks of recovery. Since we reside and work in Vero Beach, it has been quite difficult traveling back and forth to be with her. I hope to also raise enough to replace her stolen iPhone or if anyone has a used one they would like to donate to her, that would be awesome too! Thank you in advance and God bless!
