16 yr old Lifeguard loses his life
My name is Kathleen Price The aunt of Norman. While conducting a routine lifeguard patrol to keep people from getting into the rough surf, Norman’s lifeguard boat capsized. He hit his head on the boat and was unconscious. He had to be resuscitated twice and airlifted to Cooper trauma unit.
Norman‘s current condition is very grim. His brain has suffered extensive and permanent damage. In addition he suffered severe damage to one lung, damage to his liver, two broken collarbones, broken ribs and a very serious eye injury. The brain is continuing to swell and causing more damage then the original injury.
This summer champ was involved in many rescues including a four-year-old child. He was loved by all in the lifeguard squad. I humbly ask that you help in any way you can for the mounting medical bills. You can see the article on NJ.com or the Cape May County Herald.
