160 Hardmoor miles for Jane Turner & Tommy Rivs

I am raising money for two absolutely inspirational people who have had their lives fundamentally changed by cancer. Firstly, in support of Professor Jane Turner, I will be raising money for Target Ovarian Cancer. Jane is my colleague and friend and has touched the lives of so many people with her passion and determination to make the world a better place. She has championed gender equality and has done so much to support women in business. 

Tommy Rivers Puzey is an inspirational runner and coach. Like Jane, he has touched the lives of many people. I have never met Tommy, he is my virtual trainer and without his words of advice, encouragement and beautiful approach to life, I would not have covered half the the lockdown treadmill miles in training that I have managed.

Tommy was out running and felt unwell. At first he thought it was COVID, but was sadly diagnosed with a rare and aggressive form of cancer called primary pulmonary NK/T- cell lymphoma. He spent many months in ICU and is currently at home trying to regain weight and strength to enable him to progress to his next stage of treatment. This money will go towards paying his hospital bills and supporting his family. Tommy and his wife Steph have three young girls.

The funds will be split 50/50 between the two causes.
