18 for Orli
Donation protected
A few weeks ago, our friend Sarah was told the one thing no parent wants to hear: her 10-year-old daughter was diagnosed with a rare form of liver cancer.
After thinking long and hard about what we could do, we realized the answer was something, anything, besides wringing our hands and doing nothing.
So on January 11, the two of us are taking a walk for our friend. 18 miles to be exact: 18 for Orli.
We are asking that you cheer us on with an $18 donation. We chose 18 because a.) it's really far and b.) in the Jewish faith, it's a number of luck and blessings, and the Wildman-Halpern family could use them both. This will be donated to the family to ease the burden and allow Sarah to take the diligence she has used for her work to inspire us all and focus that on her daughter's care, as she has just begun an arduous journey of chemotherapy.
We thank you for your support!
