Climbing for Community

Hi, my name is Mila, and I launched a program to introduce children from the Hoboken Boys and Girls Club to rock climbing. Climbing for Community offers them the opportunity to experience the life-changing benefits of rock climbing. We provide free beginner classes at The Gravity Vault Hoboken, coached by passionate volunteers from our Youth Competitive Team, creating an inclusive environment where everyone feels welcome. Participants not only improve their physical and mental health but also learn valuable life skills, build confidence, and connect with a supportive community. Climbing for Community breaks down barriers to access, promotes diversity in the climbing community, and empowers people to reach new heights, both on and off the walls!

The Gravity Vault Hoboken has generously offered minimal gym fees and included all equipment free of charge. Climbing for Community is also supported by the Riley's Way Call for Kindness Fellowship and Grant for 2024. Donations through GoFundMe will go towards more classes. $15 covers the cost of a visit for one participant. Any amount is appreciated. The funds are channeled through my mother because I am under 18, but 100% of the funds are going to Climbing for Community. Thank you for your consideration!
