F Cancer! Rene (Guy) Marquez Memorial Fund

We are extremely saddened to inform everyone that we have lost our Dad, husband, son, brother, uncle, grandpa and friend Rene Marquez Jr on April 30, 2019. Three years ago he was misdiagnosed with a calcium build up and they told us it was nothing to worry about, but April 5th we found out it was stage 4 liver cancer, we were told he had 4 years, every day it shortened; we just lost him after a 25 day battle. Everyone who knew him knew he was smart enough to have life insurance, but due to his prior medical conditions the insurance company claimed he was ineligible. This was so sudden and unexpected that we weren’t financially Prepared. Although we hate to ask everyone for assistance in Rene’s home going services; because we know that everyone has their own struggles and ongoing bills, we unfortunately are in a position where we must. Together we can give him a place of rest that all of his friends and family can visit and pay their respects. Please donate what you can and anything you can to help us give him the home going service and burial he deserves. Any donation, large or small, will be accepted and appreciated.
