K STRONG FOUNDATION

In December of 2018, Kesnel found out news that would change his life forever. He was diagnosed with testicular cancer and had no idea what his body was about to endure. Kesnel underwent surgery January 7, right before his 29th birthday to remove one of the tumors. Kesnel’s case was then transferred to Memorial Sloan Kettering in order for him to receive the best care. They studied his tests and lab results and was then diagnosed with Stage 3 testicular cancer and learned the cancer spread throughout his abdominal area and into his lungs as well. For the past 4 months, Kesnel has been receiving aggressive chemo in order to shrink the tumors and cancer cells. Kesnel has extensive surgery Friday May 17th to remove those tumors and to find any live cancer to determine if he will need more chemotherapy. His whole diagnosis has been very eye opening and has changed not only his life but his family as well. Kesnel is holding a cancer foundation event on June 17th and would love the support of my family and friends during this time. It is important to always listen to your body when you feel something is wrong. Update from Daniel Occena as of 5/18 So i wanted to give an update on my little brother. He had surgery today, my brother has been diagnosed with stage 3 cancer, doctors had to open him up to remove cancerous tumors that metastasized in his lungs and abdominal area. He has a long road to recovery but our hope is they got it all out. He'll be in the hospital for a few weeks, so please keep his in your prayers. As a family we have been dealing with this internally but we're at a point where we need help. Anything anyone can do to help my brother with the mounting medical bills and treatment cost will be appreciated. This is his second operation.
