Eight years ago, I met the most wonderful man.. he was in Rome and I was in Memphis, TN. We meet online and within weeks, we knew we were meant to be together. We talked online for six months before we finally met in person. We both traveled to NYC to meet. It was a beautiful week. We drive back to my home in Memphis. He met my friends and family.. we said goodbye two weeks later.
It would be another six months before we would see each other again. This time, in Rome. I didn't a beautiful month with him. I saw Rome, Florence and Sienna. I met his friends, ate wonderful food, drank lots of delicious wine. Saying goodbye again was horrible.
Five months later, he traveled back to the states. We had another glorious month together. But when this trip ended, I was able to come back with him to Rome.
We lived two years together before traveling back to visit my family. During this visit, we got married. A small, beautiful, outdoor ceremony on the bluff of the Mississippi River.
We returned to Rome a few days after the wedding. We've been here together for five years.
Due to difficulties of me finding work, our relationship became strained. Last year, during covid-19, we talked and decided to open or relationship up.. nothing happened for either of us, other than a few talks..
A year later, today, actually, we talked again and decided it is best for our marriage to end.. we still care for each other and we still intend on staying close friends.. but..
The reason for this go fund me if this.. Our marriage is ending and I need help getting back to the United States.. I cannot stay here, without work.
I'm searching for a job back home, but I need assistance for an airline ticket and money for a few months.
I know this period is tough on so many people.. I am sending good thoughts out into the universe for those who are able to help with a few dollars.. every little bit will add up
I thank you for reading this.. and pray some of you will be able to help..
