Austin Badger Park / Wick Outlaw Trails Expansion

Austin Badger Park has become known as a place of beauty that our community has embraced as a place to walk, exercise, and mountain bike. With the ever growing need to get our youth engaged in activities that will promote a heathy outdoor life style and also for our adult community to stay active we are asking you to help with an expansion project of Austin Badger Park. Brian Wick who has become known as the person who has been holding his Outlaw trail Jam for cyclists Of all ages in Medina County for the past 6 years is now bringing his building team and event to Austin Badger Park for the community to be able to use in a public forum for current cyclists and for attracting the youth of our community to cycling and the outdoors. The labor to run the equipment and build the new addition to the park has been donated by Pump Traxx USA who is based in the Cleveland area. They are known for building pump tracks, BMX tracks, and other types of cycling trails all over the globe. They have been gracious enough to donate three days of labor to building two pump tracks, and connection of the existing cross country trail, and the addition of a dual slalom style Outlaw Snake Run for head to head runs. With the expansion of this project we would like to not only make the new additions something you will all want to ride but also the rest of the park as well. We hope to make Austin Badger a destination park in Medina and not just an after thought of places to ride. Brian has donated all of his profits from the past six events, the Austin Badger trail fund is being used along with some private donations but to really make this project something special we hope to rely on you, the community. Mountain bikers, BMX riders, runners, walkers, and the community to help us give back to you. If you can spare a few dollars to help with equipment rentals, materials, and any other unforeseen items it would be greatly appreciated. We really want to give you something special. All funds will go directly to the Austin Badger Trail fund for the expansion, upgrades, and maintenance of the park above and beyond the townships help.
