Andrew Nesbitt’s Fight For A New Liver

Early this morning (May 29,2019) my dear friend and colleague Ben Nesbitt had to rush his son, nine year old Andrew, to the hospital emergency here in Victoria. Andrew was found to be in extreme liver failure and air lifted to Vancouver then on to Edmonton where he is now in critical condition battling complications while awaiting a lifesaving liver transplant. As many of you know Ben’s place of employment, The Deep Cove Chalet, has been closed while repairs are being completed from a fire last October, and while Ben has had some temporary employment at the Fireside Grill, the financial need for Ben and his family is significant. Ben is now being tested to provide a portion of his own liver to give to Andrew, but these are still early stages. I am setting up this “Go Fund Me Page” that will be going directly to Ben so that he can provide for his family. Travel and living expenses that will be incurred while he, his wife Sylvia and son Liam do their best to help Andrew.
