A Dream to Represent Australia Coming True
Donation protected
Heading to Russia to represent Australia At the age of 7 this little girl saw the twirls of the ribbon and the spinning hoop and was desperate to start Rhythmic Gymnastics. Since that first sight of Rhythmic Gymnastics she has trained and trained and trained spending upwards of 27 hours each week training - literally through blood (those ribbon sticks are sharp!) sweat (yes training for 4+ hrs on 38+ degrees days!) and tears (some days are hard!) on top of school. Now, 8 years on at the age of 15, with a huge grin on her face, she can PROUDLY say that all that hard work, reaching goals and having dreams has resulted in success with her and her team being selected by Gymnastics Australia to represent their country at the 1st Rhythmic Gymnastics Junior World Championships. This competition is in Moscow, Russia in peak season for Europe, so it is very costly to attend. We are doing everything we can to help Tahlya go to Russia but we are honest when we say it's a hard task to meet these costs. Every donation small or large would be wholeheartedly and sincerely appreciated by Tahlya and her parents, so if you are able to donate in anyway we would all be forever grateful. Thank you for reading a little bit of Tahlya's story and thankyou for helping a dream come true ☺️
