Galatians 6:2 "Carry each other's burdens and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ"
We, and especially Cherie, are very private people, but at some point, everyone must put their pride away and ask for help.
The last several years have been very challenging. After 14 years of service with the Hoosier Lottery, I left to pursue other career opportunities. It was bad timing as COVID hit. I struggled finding a sales rep position that paid enough...4 jobs in three years took a massive toll on our finances. Finally finding a good company and job a year ago, things started to look up, then devastating news that dropped us to our knees! My beautiful wife Cherie was blindsided by a life-threatening diagnosis...Stage 4 Cancer! She has been battling this horrendous disease for some time. She has been so very brave and so very strong. I'm scared, but knowing she's a fighter and knowing she has faith in the Lord gives me some peace.
With all this, we had to vacate our home. This was our first home together and held so many wonderful memories. This, of course, crushed us. We are currently renting from family. This is very temporary and very appreciated.
With the exorbitant cost of medicine and treatments, we are in dire need of funds to help us secure an apartment and cover moving expenses, but most importantly to have money to continue to search out better treatments for Cherie's cancer.
This decision to ask for help has not been easy at all. Cherie is so very private, but we have done all we can and simply need help.
We greatly appreciate any and all donations! If you can't donate, please keep Cherie and I in your prayers.
We have wonderful family and so many friends in the Elvis World and otherwise who I know if they can, will gladly step up to help us in our time of need.
God Bless
