Colon Cancer Treatment for Sassy Michele
Donation protected
My little sister Michele is the most sunny and positive person I know. That golden positivity lights up the world of everyone she knows, especially mine. Last month (June) Michele was diagnosed with colon cancer. And, while this news took my breath away, she’s meeting this challenge with that same shining positivity. When I asked her what stage her cancer was she said, “Whatever stage I’m going to beat.” When she had to have her hairdresser shave her head and fit her for a wig, she chose the bright purple one. Because she said, “It makes me feel SO sassy!” My sister believes in kindness and love and the magic that happens between human hearts when we care for one another. Like when she gave every ounce of her loving care to our mom in her last days of life. She held on to that belief. That’s why I love her so and believe she can beat this. But I need your help. Michele would never ask because she’s private and proud. But I’m asking because I love my sister and want to take some of the financial pressure and emotional stress of beating cancer off her. The medical bills are already astronomical. One bill alone was in the thousands of dollars. Unbelievable! I’m setting a goal of $10,000 to help my sister. But please know that even $5 will help. So, I thank you for helping. Thank you for letting my sister keep her faith in the magic that happens when we care for one another.
