Wallace ‘Wally’ Mays Rememberance for Aunt Diz
Donation protected
Hello family and friends! We are setting up this funding page for voluntary donations to help mom out with any expenses in lieu of sending flowers or anything like that. As most know she has been a full time mom and worked very hard raising us kids, and I just don’t mean Bill and I (Lee) . Most of us has been influenced ‘disciplined’ by her or uncle Wally’s hand. Any type of assistance will help.
Friday
We lost the best man on the planet last night. Hero, father, grandfather, and stranger to none. He has touched everyone’s life he has came in touch with from being on the boats in the cove with me in Louisville, the roads he has travelled, fishing we got to do, doctors, friends family and all. He was and still is an inspiration myself and my daughter and always will be. Milla said “his spirit is in heaven and his body his here.” With eternal love, your son, love you dad and grandpa, lee and milla.
Immediate plans:Friday August 2nd we will meet at Sue & Chucks house (if u want). We will leave their house at 6pm. Drive 30 min to:Ravens Roost OverlookMom, Bill and I (Lee) will give an eulogy for dad and share his ashes with the mountains he enjoyed.Afterward we will go back to Sue & Chucks and celebrate him (meatball subs/pizza etc) pool, cornhole, cards and conversations at: Starting around 9 (start setting up Volleyball, horseshoes, cornhole, tables) eating at 1pm and going until near dark
