Christy, Dennis and Baby Daniel

As some of you know, my Sister In Law Christy Walker Euting is now 7 months pregnant with my nephew Daniel. We were all elated to find out she and my brother Dennis are having a baby boy! Christy is a Registered Nurse and while working several months ago, she felt some uncharacteristic tightness in her chest and had a doctor check it out. They discovered a large mass in her lung. It is wrapped around a main artery, largely blocking the airway into the middle lobe of her right lung. The mass is growing into the lining of the lung and the space between the lungs. After further testing it was determined that she has Hodgkin’s Lymphoma; it is a form of cancer that does have a high survival rate. Initially, she was placed as Stage 2 and the oncologist was comfortable letting her complete her pregnancy before beginning cancer treatment. Recently several doctors reviewing her case decided a second mass is also likely to be cancer. They are now concerned she may be Stage 4. This is a bit of a game changer, but God is still on HIS throne! There is a debate regarding the actual stage of her cancer and when the baby needs to be induced. It was never a part of Christy and Dennis’ birth plan to have a premature baby, to start a battle against cancer as new parents, etc. Please pray for the following needs:
*Christy will NOT be symptomatic, she will not have to start cancer treatment while pregnant and the baby will not have to be induced earlier
*Baby Daniel will have fully developed lungs(No NICU)
*Financial needs due to both Christy and Dennis needing to cut back hours (for baby and cancer treatment)
*High Deductible for Insurance/ Christy carries the plan (work schedule unclear)
*Doctor bills are already beginning to add up

Dennis and Christy are relying on the Lord to provide healing and protection. However, it has become quite apparent to me that there are real and serious financial needs. They would never ask for anything other than prayer, but I am certain God laid it on my heart to reach out on their behalf. I have set up a “GoFundMe” and ask for any small or big blessing.
