Catherine’s Therapy Fund

Two and half years ago tragedy struck our family. Our beloved Catherine was involved in a car accident that left her with a traumatic brain injury. Her injuries were so severe her doctors didn’t know if she would survive. By the grace of God she has been able to overcome every obstacle that has come her way but she still has a long way to go. She currently is wheel chair bound and has a shunt in her brain to help drain excess brain fluid. She eats puréed foods and is able to sit up with minimal assistance. We are asking for your help because unfortunately most rehab programs are not covered by insurance companies. Catherine’s therapists are very impressed with her achievements and see that she has much more progress to be made so that’s why we are asking for your help. The two programs we will be enrolling her into are Plasticity Brain Center and Aphasia House to help with physical, occupational and speech therapy.
