Donations for Ward 6 Tucson

Ward 6 a DIY space in Tucson AZ was shut down yesterday. The folks running the community space were fined by the Tucson police and cannot have community events and shows there anymore. They must break their rental lease and fix any damages to the building (walls, floors, from shows). The individuals putting the shows on worked countless hours for little to no pay and often used their own money to pay for rent, damages, and other expenses. This space meant a lot to the local Tucson music scene and will be truly missed. My hope is that we can raise enough money to cover fines, damages, and rental issues. I am not directly affiliated with the space nor did I help run it, just a person that appreciated having the space in my community. The money raised from this campaign will go directly to the folks who ran the space and are in charge of the fines, rental, and damages. I understand that not everyone can donate, but if you could just share this post and information it would really mean a lot to me and the AZ community.
