Medical Bills For Mikhail Vinitsky

Mike Vinitsky was a police officer guarding a hospitalized prisoner in 2007, when the prisoner was somehow able to take a metal post from the hospital bed and strike Mike in the head causing serious injuries. Mike was subsequently forced to leave his job as a NYC Police Officer in 2010 due to the injuries. This past July 2019, Mike suffered a heart attack causing him to go into cardiac arrest and unable to verbally communicate without the assistan ce of a computer. During the course of the treatment, it was determined that Mike had developed ALS (Lou Gehrig disease) which was the result of being struck in the head. The only family he has is his 80 year old mother who has medical issues herself. Mike is forced to have 24 hour health aides assigned to him. He is responsible for the medical costs himself. Whatever monetary amount you can donate would be greatly appreciated.
