Saving Scott Wilson
Donation protected
On the morning of August 27th, 2019, local artist/service industry worker Scott Wilson suffered a catastrophic brain aneurysm and a severe stroke. He was rushed to the ER at Tulane Medical in the nick of time and thanks to an incredible team of Neurosurgeons, his life was saved.
Scott had been working at Brown Butter in Mid City for the better part of the past 2.5 years. If you’ve dined there before, chances are you had the pleasure of interacting with Scott.
Scott is now involved in the fight of his life. Complications are common with severe traumas like this, and Scott has been fighting with everything he’s got. Scott is currently being treated in the Neuro ICU at Tulane and will undoubtedly be there for the foreseeable future.
Unfortunately, Scott does not have medical insurance, and the medical bills will be lofty and daunting. As of this writing, we don’t have a grasp on what the financial implications will be, but we do know that they will be astronomical in scope. Additionally, the loss of income is going to put a serious pinch on Scott and his loved ones. We are setting a lofty goal here, and would like to assure everyone that every penny helps. If you can donate anything, it would be so very much appreciated. Scott’s partner, Sara Soriano would accept any and all positive vibes, love and prayers that you can muster up. Everything helps and everything counts.
Thanks to all of you for your love and support during such a critical chapter of Scott’s life. We love each and every one of you and will post updates here on this page, as they become available.
Love,
Team Scott
