West End, Grand Bahama Emergency Relief Fund
Donation protected
Good Morning everyone!
Just a quick update - last week we were able to coordinate 3 trips with a semi truck full of supplies to be delivered to West End, Grand Bahama. We provided the supplies to 3 different churches for the equal distribution among all residents in the village with some supplies being taken the the settlements of Holmes Rock, Deadman’s Reef, and Eight Mile Rock.
Your financial donations are being used to facilitate the costs of delivery of these items such as fuel, dockage for relocation of boats, and for special relief items that are not donated.
In addition to loading and unloading 3 boats last week, I had 30 hours of underway time on the 3 crossings I made and our crew continues to work tirelessly as well.
There is still one semi full of food/water supplies that needs to be shipped and we will soon begin the rebuilding phase with construction materials and tools.
If you have the ability to continue to donate, it is greatly appreciated as our efforts to rebuild will continue.
Thank you for ALL THAT YOU HAVE DONE!
Please keep the $$$ coming into the go fund me account so we can keep these boats fueled and moving!
Thank you so much for your help!
Vince

The Purpose for this fund:
Our quaint little fishing village of West End, Grand Bahama is being ravaged by a category 5 hurricane, “Dorian.”I’ve been blessed to call this friendly village of 1500 people my second home since 1992.The storm is forecast to stall over the island for nearly 36 hours with winds in excess of 180MPH which will cause total destruction of all homes, business structures, utilities, and personal property. All we can do is pray for preservation of life at this time.As of last night, September 1, 2019, We’ve been given notice from Bahamas Government that our first aid assistance will be welcomed with open arms. We’re working with many local friends and businesses that will begin making first responder runs to the island as soon as the weather permits. Please consider helping anyway you can!God bless,Vince
