Chloe's Fearless Fight

Hi everyone, this is Chloe's mom, Marsha.   As some of you on Twitter/Instagram already know, Chloe has been diagnosed with Uveitis involving inflammation within both eyes, but worse on her left - I do not know what causes it, but unfortunately later, it had escalated to secondary Glaucoma (left eye). Chloe has been under eye treatment since early this year.   Her pressure has been going up and down, although her feline specialist has mentioned that if her eye does not improve over time, then surgery for eye removal should be considered which would be the best solution (est. cost $2,700).   Even though I know many cats usually do really well with one eye, I am still dreading the idea of having her go under the knife.   As I have already spent well over $1500 for all the treatments/blood and lab work, etc, it is beyond my financial circumstance right now.   Unfortunately, the prolonged treatment has failed to control the issues.. her left eye finally gave in. Last Thursday on 9/5, her eye developed some unknown tissue growing underneath her cornea overnight.  She growled at us when we attempted to give her eye drops and went into hiding.  Only coming out when she needs to eat. She kept her eye shut the whole time while eating noticeably in a great deal of pain. I know I had to make a quick decision; it pains me to see her suffer. I quickly took Chloe to the local Vet hospital to have her check-in, it is determined surgery for her left eye removal is necessary. She is scheduled to have surgery on Thursday 9/12, I deeply appreciate your prayers & positive thoughts for Chloe.   This is very hard for me to ask… but to help with the rest of the costs, I have set-up a Go Fund me for the first time - no amount is too small to help me get closer to my goal, and if you can't donate kindly share.
