Jarrid Wilson Memorial Fund

Donation protected
It is with a heavy heart that I announce the loss of a dear friend, Jarrid Wilson. Jarrid went to be with the Lord on September 9th. A loving father and husband, powerful speaker, gifted writer, and visionary leader, Jarrid also had a vibrant, hopeful spirit and a heart for helping others. He was a humble and gracious man. Jarrid struggled publicly with mental health and depression. His willingness to speak out on this often taboo issue gave many the courage they needed to survive the dark nights of their soul. To that end, he and his wife, Juli, founded Anthem of Hope to provide resources and encouragement to those who wrestle with depression, anxiety, and suicidal thoughts. Countless people are still alive today because of his work through Anthem of Hope. Jarrid is survived by his wife, Juli, his two sons, Finch and Denham, his mother, father, and siblings. Jarrid and I met in 2015 because of our shared dream to change the world with coffee. Jarrid, Aldo Lihiang, and I ended up co-founding a coffee company called Cause Roast to do just that. Jarrid believed in the impact Cause Roast could have and loved the fact that coffee also serves as a catalyst for community. Even after moving to the West Coast, Jarrid remained a huge fan and a great friend. As a tribute to a dear friend and amazing human-being, we are releasing a limited time blend called HOPE (available at www.causeroast.com). All proceeds from the HOPE Blend will go directly to Anthem of Hope to help continue Jarrid’s work and legacy. In addition, we have started a gofundme to help provide for Juli and the boys during this time of grief. As Juli and the kids discern the future for their family, they will also need to pay for basic necessities, health care, counseling, etc. All proceeds from this fund will go directly to Juli Wilson, Jarrid's wife. Funds will be used in any way the Wilson family deems appropriate. A gift of any size would be appreciated more than you know. Please consider contributing to this fundraiser and please more than anything be praying for Juli, Finch, Denham, and the entire Wilson family. If you or someone you know is struggling with suicidal thoughts, please reach out for help. You can call the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline at tel:1-800-273-TALK (8255).
