Hugs for Hayes

Welcome to our "Hugs for Hayes" CaringBridge website. We are using it to keep family and friends updated in one place.  Originally due in late December, Hayes Daniel Svrcek came four months early. Hayes  was born at 25 weeks on September 7th, 2019.  Hayes' birth weight was just over 450 grams (1 pound), and is currently the smallest baby in the NICU, a micro preemie.  He's in the NICU at Baylor Scott & White in Temple, Texas. His team of doctors is working hard to give him what he needs and give him every chance to fight.  The family is currently in Temple while Mommy (Rachel) heals from a severe case of preeclampsia. When she is discharged the parents (Rachel and Scooter) will be travelling back and forth between Temple where Hayes is in the NICU and Georgetown with their two older sons (Aiden and Noah)   The family appreciates your support and words of hope and encouragement.
