Legal Assistance & Housing for Melissa

Last Thursday my Husband lied to the police and tried had me Involuntary admitted to a Psychiatric Hospital by saying I wanted to kill myself. And that I was a danger to myself and others. He then filed a protective order taking away my home and children. It was one of the most traumatic experiences of my life. He hoped that it would be so destabilizing that I would lose hope give up. I was released within the minimum time without a hearing. Now I am homeless and living out of my car. I have applied to Social Service for Assistance. But need to raise $2800 to get into a home and have overnight visitation with my sons.
