Memorial For Yaeli Galdamez/Andrew Elijah Martinez

This gofundme has been made to raise funds for Yaeli/Andrew’s memorial. Some people knew Yaeli and other’s knew Andrew, a transgender male. On 09/04/2019, he committed suicide and it shattered our family and friends. What people do not know is that Andrew struggled with depression for several years. It was a long battle that was courageously fought. That is why we are not just raising money for the memorial, but whatever we raise that is left over will be donated to an organization(s) that is making a difference in providing mental health support for youth who are in need and battling similar battles like the one Andrew did for as long as he could. Despite his battle with depression, he helped give words of encouragement and helped so many of his friends who are alive today because of that We urge you to share this with friends and family. Every dollar helps make a difference. We need to rise up and be united in protecting and supporting our youth, in and out of the system, with their mental health needs.
