Emergency Surgery USCG K-9 Satu
Donation protected
Last night retired USCG K-9 Satu underwent emergency surgery for Gastric Dilatation and Volvulus. He made it through surgery but is still in the ICU due to low blood pressure and heart rate and may require additional care. He is currently in good hands with the veterinary staff at Life Center Emergency/Critical Care Department.
All emergency veterinary costs for retired working dogs are covered by their former handler’s family. To help offset this cost, we have put together this go-fund-me campaign.
USCG K-9 Satu was assigned to US Coast Guard Maritime Safety and Security Team New York. He served for many years and conducted countless operational missions providing security for the President of the United States, world leaders, foreign dignitaries, his fellow service members and countless members of the American public. He was a great working dog and we want to do everything in our power to help him through this. Thank you for your consideration and generosity.
