Thank you for Visiting our page! We have created a place for anyone who would like to help our family fight this battle that our Dad is going through. Our story started about two years ago when Daniel was first diagnosed with Translocation Kidney Cancer. This Particular type of cancer is typically found in pediatric cases, however in adults this can be a very aggressive and vicious. Daniel, went into surgery and had his kidney removed 2 years ago. His doctors first assured that as long as the cancer came up in spots that can be removed, it would be removed. He was also told in the beginning that due to his type of cancer chemo will not do anything to fight it. He went from the time he had his kidney removed, until June of 2019 with clear scans and no Chemo. In June the doctors discovered a shadow on his heart, spots on his lungs, a mass where his kidney used to be and more. They are not willing to do any other operations on him due to the fast paced growth Despite what was told to him his Dr still pushed a 40mg Chemo on to him, which eventually turn into 70mg. Within 8 weeks of his last scan and being on chemo we discovered that everything has done nothing but grow at an aggressively fast rate. We have been very fortunate that we have had everything under control up until now. The doctors have confirmed that he has a shorter time on this earth than we all anticipated. On top of finding out that terrible news, we also learned that Amazon, my dads company he has worked for, for 6 years, is no longer providing Health insurance for him or his family. This is extremely unfortunate considering we need Insurance to help cover all of these high priced scans, treatments and any other medical needs him and the family may run into. We are very grateful for everyone that has helped and any future contributions that are made to help support him and our family during these trying times.
