Christy is 43yrs old and is currently battling stage four cancer. In 2018 Christy was diagnosed with cervical cancer, she received treatment and was given a clean bill of health. About a year later she went into McLaren Port Huron hospital for pneumonia and was quickly rushed to Henry Ford with complications where they promptly told us her cervical cancer moved onto her lungs, and later they found it in other areas of her body. She has since been fighting the cancer with chemo and other meds and has been in and out of the hospital and is currently at McLaren Port Huron. They have recently decided to stop Chemo since her body was having adverse affects. Sadly all of her medication is not covered by her insurance. Her fiancé Chris has been working over time and picking up side jobs to help cover the costs, but what she wants most is time with him and her friends and family. We just want her and her 5 children, one grand child and one on the way, to enjoy all the time they have and for her not to have a financial burden and focus on fighting this cancer!
