Warren Foersch

On Saturday, October 12th, some students at Culver Academies are holding an event to honor Warren. Below is the description of the event and the reason this was created.
The fundamental goal of “Row for Colonel” is to stage a rowing event at the White-Devries Rowing Center to celebrate Colonel Foersch’s love for Culver and the Culver rowing program. The event would be an opportunity for those who are close to Colonel Foersch to come together, participate in a rowing challenge, and support Colonel’s fight against cancer.
The event would also serve as a platform to raise awareness of Debbie and Warren Foersch’s journey through his treatment, which is detailed through their CaringBridge page online. This event will not only serve to support the Foersch family, but to also tell the underclassmen of the hard work and ideals that Colonel Foersch taught and upheld while at Culver. Participants and viewers will be encouraged to visit the site and share their compassion.
After creating this event, an abundance of people have asked how they can make a donation to support the Foersch's.
The money will be used specifically for medical and travel costs for treatments. Any extra monies will be donated equally to the Pancreatic Cancer Society to help with further research and to the American Red Cross which helped the Foersch's obtain lodging at a discount for consults and treatments.
